Connecticut Parrot Society, Inc. (CPS) is the perfect place for
people of all ages who are interested in parrots, or who already
share their lives with them.
Members include parrot owners, breeders, professional hand
feeders, parrot rescue organizations and their volunteers, parrot
specialty shop owners, online retailers, and veterinarians.
A highly diversified, friendly, and engaging fellowship of
parrot enthusiasts, CPS is a family-oriented society that welcomes
everyone to join!
CPS
offers members monthly opportunities to socialize, show their birds,
learn about different parrot species, and exchange ideas about parrot
care. Meetings are
held in centrally located Middletown, Connecticut.
Programs often include knowledgeable guest speakers or educational
seminars. Additional
membership privileges include informative newsletters, field trips,
and eligibility to participate in the parrot adoption program.
The
annual CPS family picnic is held in August.
Meetings are held the first Thursday of every month, with
the exception of July and August, at Wadsworth Glen Health Care
& Rehabilitation Center in Middletown, CT.
