Annual Featherfest The Connecticut Parrot Society, Inc. is the fastest growing bird club in Connecticut. Membership meetings are held monthly in centrally located Middletown, CT. Current membership is more than 140 and growing! We
are very excited to announce our second annual Featherfest, to be held
at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 100 Berlin Rd., Cromwell, CT. Doors will open
for vendors at 8 am; hours for the public are 10 am-5 pm. This family-oriented
fundraiser and Speakers will include Liz Wilson, bird behaviorist and writer for Bird Talk magazine (www.upatsix.com/liz); Susan Chamberlain, well-known author for Bird Talk magazine (www.14karatparrot.net); and Hope Douglas, founder of Wind Over Wings (www.windoverwings.com), who will present a program about raptors. Hope will introduce us to various birds of prey living at this well-known rescue and rehabilitation center here in southern Connecticut. Vendor cost: $ 35.00 per table (8-foot space); electrical, $ 20 per outlet.
