Connecticut Parrot Society, Inc. member benefits
include monthly meetings with fun and educational events, field trips,
December Holiday party and annual social gatherings. In addition to the
many rewards that come with being able to bring and socialize your
parrot each month, members also receive regular delivery of an exciting
and informative Newsletter, The Parrot Papers. In each issue you will
find a Question and Answer column with Ann M. Bourke, DVM, Dipl.
ABVP-Avian Practice. Dr. Ann, owner of Northeast Bird Clinic, also
offers her expertise with a discounted on site, annual Wing and Nail
Grooming and Microchip Services.
CPS members are as diversified and engaging as the parrots they keep.
CPS membership is collectively comprised of many years experience in
parrot care and behavior and yet they share the enthusiasm of a new
companion parrot owner. Come join novice and experienced owners alike
and enjoy the comradery!
Please read our Parrot Protocol for
meeting guidelines.
- Annual CPS memberships run from January 1st through
December 31st of each year.
- New members who join prior to September 1st will have
their membership expire on December 31st of that year.
- New members who join on or after September 1 will
have their membership expire on December 31st of the following year.
- All membership renewal dues must be paid by December
31st for the ensuing year.
- All persons with unpaid renewal dues as of February
1st will lose their membership and member benefits.
- Non-members can attend a CPS monthly speaker event
for a $5 charge and you can attend your first meeting for free.
